These days it is easy to come across people dancing for no reason. Also the best place to get good dancers these days is in the church. There is total abandonment. There it is allowed for one to dance erotically while mentally ravishing one another. All in the name of the Creator. It is when you are allowed to do whatever you wish that you contribute largely without complaints, to the pastor.
In the beginning we heard he was full of ‘annoyance’ and had ordered the cedi to rise. He was so ‘annoyed’ that he overprayed. I daresay by this pastor’s powerful voice, today the Ghanaian cedi has risen and is enjoying so much freedom it is dancing. Not even a known dance but an amalgamation of dances being choreographed by our very own Mayama.
Why is the cedi running? It is simply gut wrenching. How? What happened? One dollar equates to four cedis fifty pesewas. Saaaajeewaa!!!! I am very sure by the time you read this article it might be nearer the five cedis mark. Before I continue , let me say this. it looks the cedi Is appreciating against the major currencies? Is it a fluke or is it for real? People in positions must finally be sitting up and working.
Investors and would be investors are crying. With the irregular power supply and crazy runaway cedis, investors are dancing musical chairs in order to succeed. They have become master jugglers. They prefer to dance with the black marketeers who have a knack for predicting economies around the world than the so called economists. The banks are clueless and are in a quagmire.
For me, I pray the cedi dances back to the starting point. If and if it gets tired and rests at its current location, Ghana will be in a deep hole. It has to come back. Make up a new dance that will entice it to come back. when you do pray, pray and ask and do not command by the power of your voice!
I am only a messenger.
I have come to deliver.
