“So we prayed.
With thanksgiving. I cannot see
nor read into your heart.
Did you really mean it? Then,
let your life/actions reflect
your prayer. Be humble
and God-fearing yet people
loving. Judge not. Let your
conscience click and work.
Christianity is not a
religion. It is a way of life.
Reflecting on it. God bless”

We love God
That is the country Ghana. This is the country where they spend a great portion of their time hollering at God in makeshift structures to palatial edifices yet …
This the country where one goes from the nightclub straight to church. This is the country where one receives envelopes and sees nothing wrong with it. Afterall some of the very leaders of the church are engaged in corrupt practices and hid under the blanket of “touch not my anointed”
When so-called church leaders use police and military personnel for protection and ask their followers to use the Holy Ghost then you know something is wrong.
I am jumping into the Dampare brouhaha. What at all is this man’s offence? What did he do wrong? I know you will cite a thousand and one reasons and for some of you, you have no idea even as to what really transpired.
Political affiliation? Everyman is entitled to his affiliatehowever to be able to discern and carry out your official mandates without being biased is a must. Did he do the same? I think he did well. For someone who is being touted as an NDC man, then he was brave in going about his mandate.
Now as Ghanaians in office, are we serving the nation or are we serving our political parties or affiliations? Have we really let go of our patriotic mindset? That is why I have been calling for ATTITUDINAL THINKING. Our mindsets have totally derailed.
There are two institutions that can help us realign our thinking. These two institutions must be reigned in however because some of them are leading the people astray.
They are the chieftaincy and religious institutions.
Back to Dampare! Are we angry because he refused to let us do as we please? Are we angry because our party was in power then and he refused to do our dictates? Are we angry because some disgruntled senior officers say he is not the best? We all saw how he brought discipline and a level of integrity to the service. He uplifted the image of the service. He engaged in hands-on policing himself. What did you say his crime was again? Do you have proof? Have him arrested and put before court. We allow our pettiness to get in the way of national development.
Lest you think I am against the President’s decision, let me remind you he is the President. He has advisors. Some of them are the Council of State.
And where are our leaders? In times like this, I expect to listen to a voice of reason and not malicious allegations that not only damages the repute of a public service holder but could have detrimental mental health effects on his or her family.
Reflect! Be Mindful! Rewire Attitudinal Thinking
