It is okay to assassinate characters but then remember there definitely was good before the bad.
Now as you go about tarnishing images, remember again every human has flaws. None is perfect. You might be perfect but definitely I (#SILENTNOISES) am not.
Never stab one you call a friend/ brother in the back. That is hellish. Look at the one in the face and speak your mind. After all true friends will put you on track rather than derail you.
It is said that we mature as we grow and old wine is the best. Let same be said for us humans.
Enjoy the month. May it bring the beginning of peace and joy.

Rerun.
So it took the Kenyans to teach Ghanaians a lesson in principles and discipline? It took the Kenyans to emphasize to some people that posterity and integrity are paramount to pecuniary based ideals? It took Kenyans to emphasize the meaning of “Supreme Court” to Ghanaians and Africans?
In less than 11 days, a judgement is delivered. It is a judgement devoid of intimidation and fear. This is a judgement that speaks truth to Patriotism, Intergrity and Accountability.
8 freaking f….. Months of insults, heart attacks, personal opinions and judgements, insinuations, name it.
8 months that resulted in Dr.s being employed to work for SSNIT. 8 months that resulted in inflated costs of waste bins that are lying as waste themselves; 8 months that entrenched over 50 + million cedis going to an individual as judgement debt; 8 months that led to guinea fowls migrating across the borders of Ghana. 8 months that led to only God knows what.
A colleague just said “Life is good”.
It is true if only we all play our part as it is supposed to be. Life is good if you are patriotic.
8 months=10 days.
This is mathematical grammar.

Tuesday 8/29/17
I woke up to see a video of an elderly lady dancing like an eighteen year old. Nothing wrong with it though. I have a tingling sensation you are about to bash me but chaley ” I talk finish”.
You see, the lady in question is a public figure and at a point in time can and will hold the fort in the absence of the top three. Being a public figure puts you in a constant limelight and as such acting and talking with decorum. I personally think being in the limelight does not hinder one from being themselves. Rather you can still be yourself away from the prying eyes of the public.
I demand an apology.
When the other woman danced to a well rehearsed choreography of Shatta’s music, you and I were in uproar only for you to do this?
I am tempted to say the joy of wielding power causes people to forget their reasons for being ELECTED INTO OFFICE!
That being said, man Alabi please hold a presser on the IT manager hired during your tenure. This is massive corruption. I bet you nothing will come off it. Things will be settled.
I still have confidence in the people though. They will make the system work. The system will work again. The rule of law will prevail. Lawlessness will be abolished.
Attitudinal thinking will be rewired. I had a wonderful weekend. I was at an 11 year old’s birthday party. There were more adults than children. The adults kept to themselves and the children to theirs but with supervision. It is good to catch up with friends.
Before that was the Joy Gala. Beautiful event. Mr. Paul Boakye-Dattey is one of those pastors who seeks the common good of all and does not epitomize the rhetorical self enriching so – called parading the corridors of earth. #SILENTNOISES was present.
How was your weekend? Today is Tuesday. Yesterday is gone.

Much ado …..
In case you have forgotten today is Friday. I intend to enter the weekend merrily without recourse to unmeritorious thinking. What is this crass (pardon my language) about SSNIT? I hear somebody too received an award. The media hype of issues.
Just in case, last week it was CAPUT (Capital Bank and UT). People who were said to “look like insult” jumped on the streets and vented their hunger induced outbursts on Otabil and Amoabeng and co. People defended and people offended. People acted as referees. GCB by a fluke became mother goose. Hehehehe.
Then this week SSNIT comes out. Some man bi says they were justified in their spending. Board chair too says no. Every one is holding press conferences. When the nonsense was taking place did the board deem it fit to tell the people? Now you want to be absolved of all blame? Dzimakplaaa w)))) (tell VS to come and beat me).
Then she was given an award. For what? Her incompetence? Take a look at the NCCE today. They are engaging the public in activities that would require them to be conversant with the constitution and other public policies. Her own deputies took decisions without informing her and she comes out in the public domain squealing like a ….. Award for what? Pure fanfool respect. Someone will say “ahooyaa aka skinpain otherwise known as jealousy” but then the Truth is bitter. Cocoa is bitter. Akpeteshie is bitter. In the end they all bring joy!!
Talking about these issues let me say this. Many voted for NADAA for his vision, leadership qualities and his intention to bring about much desired sanity into the system. He cannot do it all alone. We the people have to own it. We have to do it. We have to abide by the rules; by the law. We love to do things our own way because we know somebody in a high place. Note no one is above the rule of law. Life is a …… The law of Karma is real. Enough.
Let us do right by ourselves and create our own Utopia. Ony us can do it.
Change! Let us rewire our attitudinal thinking. Now

What is the difference?
I know I will be bashed for this but …..I love the African way of worship. The frenzy off wailing and chants. The binding of … I live in a foreign land. Diverse community. They believe in a Supreme Being that we Africans also believe in. I see them worshipping for at most an hour.
Now these people give. I mean give charitably. I don’t care if they claim it on their tax returns but they do give. They believe in their church and donate generously towards its upkeep.
Now my people are cajoled into donating, they are urged to sow seeds and pay tithes, they are encouraged to bring money to church for the church but not to give to the needy in society. All charitable donations will be done by and in the name of the church (few exceptions).
Now I ask. Do we not worship the same God? The very people who are purported to have brought us the Bible are not even so …..
How come they are successful and we lack? Yes we lack. Instead of churches promoting productivity and preaching salvation, they rather propound theories on money markets and being blessed for sowing seeds. I thought the Bible talked about working diligently and hard? I thought the Bible said something about the lazy man not eating?
Now do not descend on me. All I ask of you is to commit time to work. Commit yourself to your Creator in truth and give generously. Charitable giving will uplift you.
You are the change. It is only a word unless you act it.
Thank you.
The sojourner
The forest is well lit
The canopy is huge and green
The supports are huge and lame
The base is firmly rooted
Whence cometh the light
As it wafts at waist level
Caressing the supports
Wooing them in confidence
It is dark above
It is dark below
It is sweet light here
Though i cannot see my feet
I fret in fear
I am drenched in a fever
The lure of the light
Dancing and singing
Has brought me far
Take me home
Home to my motherland
The land of my umbilical cord
There, I will see my feet.
I know my way home

The Merry Go-around
The Merry Go-around
Singing and crying
Laughter with sorrow
Tear drenched kerchief filled with sweat,
toil in excess that brings no fruit,
Shame in glory that cajoles wealth,
nonsensical idiocracy that translates into religion,
onions have become opinions,
The stench of trash is the new perfume,
pardon me, excuse me is threatening,
for with force and by the force we claim,
what has never been ours!
Ugly is beautiful
Adorned like a donkey which is no more than an a….
Beautiful no longer is in your eyes but what money tells you.
I dance at midnight
In the middle of the river
When the sun is at its highest,
burning up in the torrential rain.
Confused?
Laugh. It is only a circus
A Merry Go-around

Listen
Listen. Carefully. Shut your eyes.
Listen to the whispers
Sweet murmurings
The response
Urges more whispers
I want to hear what is being said
Are they lovers?
Open your eyes
See the caress
Ever so gentle
Massaging the lower part
Whispers in the upper part
What happened?
We were learning from you
You are still here.
We will wait till you hear
Our silent breaths
You are lost
We are found
We bask in nature
The waves run their hands
Through the hair of the rocks
Whispering love quotes into her ears
The waves caress the feet of the rocks
Everso gently
Yet roughly I daresay
On certain days
When the affection is nigh
On a darkened night.
But today is in the dusk
Filled with a musk
Take it all in.
Live and love
As one

The Funeral

We have come to mourn,
Many, like the teeth of corn,
We have been apart torn,
Coming here this morn.
In clothes never worn,
We have come to mourn.
In colors of the rainbow,
Our culture is no more
Traditions are a bore
And longer at the core.
Rainbow is the new black,
Laughter to bid farewell.
I have come to mourn
Unlike you who choose
To seek one to moan
After a funeral celebration
For a life well lived.
Though we cared not when you sought us
Yet to bid au revoir,
We are here.
Dirges are played
Few tears water the earth
Merriment for a new beginning
Footsteps pound the earth
Unto each his own
Unto each their story.
One day it said
We will meet again.
