The current leader of the opposition party had heard of the plot. He had talked to his key and trusted confidantes. They would use it to their advantage. It was a good plot. It would throw the nation into turmoil. It would give them a platform to get back into power. They owed so much and time to repay was fast approaching. By any means necessary. They were lucky to have Simone as a spy. Her information was very helpful. They also had people in key places. Some of them would help facilitate the plot.

While the ladies were talking, one’s phone had inadvertently dialed a number. The person at the other end realized their carefully planned strategy was out in the open and wondered how much these two knew. They would have to be eliminated at all cost. He called another number and informed them. The ladies were rounded up as they were with their respective partners. Upon questioning they revealed where they heard the information, where they were as they were talking and who else was there.

She had received a call from a client to set up an early morning appointment. She was one of the best beauticians in the country and most sought her services. This appointment was for 4 a. m. The men had already scouted the business location and knew what they were about to do would not be noticed.
“Are we set?” “This a one touch kill guys” their leader said to them. Their getaway motorbikes had mufflers attached. All you could hear was the rushing of the wind.

They questioned her. “Who was the other woman in here on this day?” “was that her daughter?” What is her name? “Oh s… t. Guys, that is Major’s ex wife. That Major guy at the presidency. She will by all means inform her husband.” ” What do we do?” one of the guys asked. “Let’s finish this.” They bound up the beautician and doused the place in a highly inflammable liquid with no scent. Finally, they performed the coup de grace on Tanchelle the beautician. They walked out of the salon as it went up in flames.
The fire service would arrive without water and also find the fire hydrant to be defective. The place and the body in there was burnt into ashes that the wind would dissipate before forensics could do a thorough job.
Meanwhile, Simone and Jezabel continued their conversation deep at sea. They would never find shore due to their weight.

My ex-wife had gone to the salon to get her hair and nails done. She had gone with our older daughter who had just turned fifteen. In divorce, my ex is my best friend and we do understand each other much better than when we were married. MaaAbena is a gem. She refused to remarry or date anyone and carried on with me as though we are still married. MaaAbena is an IT and CyberSec guru.

At the salon, my daughter Dziedzorm aka Dzie, had overhead part of a conversation and it got her curious. She texted her mother who also began to listen intently. The conversation piqued her curiosity. She texted her daughter to remain indifferent. She began to record the conversation.
Between MaaAbena and me, we have three children. Dzie is the oldest, followed by Mawuli the boy who is thirteen and Mawuse the last girl who is eleven years. The children because of our professions were versatile in the use of handguns and IT equipment. They were only to utilize them in a last resort situation.

They were two other women in the salon besides my MaaAbena and Dzie. They happened to be sidechicks to two top influential people in government. One is the girlfriend to the Chief of Staff at the presidency and the other, the side chick to the brother of the Veep. They were talking about the pending elections and what was likely to take place considering the brouhaha over the EC’s decision to recompile a new voters register amid the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

The two women were Simone and Jezabel. Simone was actually the twin to Simon, a known die hard opposition activist. Simon would give his life for his party. He breathed and lived through his party. No one knew that and with the information she got from her boyfriend, the Veep’s brother, she passed it on to her brother. Her brother was mean with a constant scowl on his face. She did not look in any way like her brother but when it came to politics, though she would defend her party, she could stomach all the wahala to wit nonsense.
Jezabel is a bisexual and is having an affair with the Chief of Staff. It is a very discreet affair but, yes, few of us knew. For security reasons, I will not go into details.

These two had been in an outer room at an exclusive gathering and had overheard the ongoing conversation and strategies concerning the election.
Strategic heads would roll.

The order for my arrest had come from the top. To them I knew too much. My family knew too much. I had to be silenced. To the MPol, I was just another soldier who had disobeyed orders. They had no idea whom they were dealing with. I was on their secure channels listening in to all their coded communications about me. I smiled in the darkness. My men communicated to me through dog barks and whistles. I just listened to the messages and got ready.

There were roughly twenty soldiers outside my gate. Each was armed to the teeth. They were from the elite squad within MPol. They were to bring me in dead or alive;DOA. It simply meant kill him on sight.

The knocking ceased just as it had started. The silence was noisy. You could hear pins dropping in the stillness of the night. My front gate opened. A series of barks followed.

My men had communicated the movement of the soldiers within my compound and towards and into my house. Two had entered, one behind the other but slightly to the left. Sixteen followed in single file moving to the right and left simultaneously. The last two maintained the rear, walking backwards. Four of the sixteen moved towards my cars and began checking them out. Their communicators had gone silent.

I would defend myself and live for what i had been trained to do: defend my country at the peril of my life.

Who is copying? Or Musical Chairs

Musical chairs

So it started as a sparsely populated crowd. Then it populated in a few hours. The pro president and Republican supporters looked on in jubilation.

Their dreams and hopes would be dashed for Americans are patriotic to the core and would quell any nonsense in a jiffy. Yes this 6th January would go down in history. The watchman was nearly stripped naked. Who would now defend this great country that advocated for democracy?

If this insurrection had taken place in any so called Third World Country, how would U.S media houses label it? I can only imagine.

Let us use African Airways and move quickly into Ghana. Destination Parliament house. The 8th parliament has to be sworn in but there is a small problem.

You see the EnDeECee has occupied the seating side reserved for the majority. There is a stalemate. The EnPePee are hurling themselves onto their opposition counterparts.. Our honorables descending to this level yet being of one accord when it is time for ex-gratia?

Play me some music. Live band or DJs? Let the musical chairs begin.

Who is copying who? Can the US talk to Ghana as a big brother?

America is with a president elect. Ghana is without . .. The CJ might act but that one sef….

6th January of 2021. Only six days into 365 days. Anyways, let us go back to dancing

The ‘battery’ is the Lord’s

Hello my awesome readers. How have you all been? I really did miss you. I have been gone for far too long but hey I am back.

Did you notice the migration? From wordpress.com to kntemmensah.com back to wordpress.com and now SilentNoises.org. We are home. I could not have done it without you. Thank you all so much.

A lot happened while I was away. I observed it all. Some were laughable others were simply…..

So now the year 2020 is in review.

COVID-19, a new virus and disease attacking humans devastated earth. Many speculations and conspiracy theories as to its origin but as for #SilentNoises, we know nothing. It killed and maimed people all over. More people died in Ghana from murders, road accidents, hospital errors, etc etc than COVID.

The other major disaster to hit was the unexpected passing away of His Excellency the Former President of Ghana, Jerry John Rawlings aka Papa J aka The Boom. His excellency’s passing was so unexpected that the whole country went into shock. It was surprising no one had anything untoward to say about him. Papa J! H3d3 nyuie! Sleep well

The Bishop Herman Old boys 93 year group  lost a brother. tThere have been several attempts at uplifting spirits but the sudden demise of Rex has devastated us all. Accra Film School and the Movie industry and Ghana lost an illustrious son in his prime.

The High profile murders. Slashed throats.

John D and Oko B lost the elections. Both still have jobs though. The actor and medical doctor. Rumor has it one of them was rejected for not giving substantially during outdoorings and funerals. The other lost because of V8. People don’t sleep.

John M also lost the election. Is he the only candidate  that the EnDeeCee could have fielded? Why do you bring the guy back? Now they are going to court. Lawyer Nti the kejetia law school graduate will lead the charge.

The daughter of the late KB won. Yes she won.  She won the Ablekuma seat on the ticket of the EnPePee. She will bring about change and put smiles on faces.

Free SHS won. The people love it. They are benefiting tremendously. But is free, free at all? For four glorious years, every length and breadth of Ghana enjoyed free senior high school tuition. And this year, water and electricity was free too. EnPePee, please next year give us free beer and coca cola

Charley, I have to mention PapaNo 2020. Who is or was Papa No.? A couple of women descended into the big Odawna gutter and hurled filth at each other over Social Media. When tired, they carved a bed in the filth and slept. Where were the elders in the country?

There is a group of people in Gh who talk some way. Yes some way. I wont challenge them. I will only greet them. Greetings oooo my Piece Counsel. (I am having fun)

Then Uncle Martin. Charley the guy en pen be wicked. Name calling pa be dis.  Office of the Special ‘Kwesipeter’. Everyone wants to work in that office.

2020. Covid. The government did great. With lots of room for improvement.

2020. Dilemma of a People. For Nana or Jay Me?

2021!!! Here we come.

The ‘battery’ is the Lords!

He could hear the loud knocking. It was very consistent and he knew the neighbors would be up. They definitely would be peeping from behind their white curtains. The curtains laid bare their rooms and their lives. They simply were inquisitive; no, they were nosey.

The knocking continued at a higher decibel with persistence. The lights were still off. The apartment was in total darkness. The cars were visible in the carport. That meant somebody was home.

I was clothed in a dull black attire from head to feet. My shoes were rubber soled. The knife I carried was crafted from black obsidian rock. Guns were messy. I loved knives and my hands; occasionally my hands. There was no need for noise when I moved. I blended in with the darkness. Things were about to get messy. There was no way my lights could be turned on. They had been permanently disconnected from the source. I did that.

My name is Kwame Amoyaw. Major Kwame Amoyaw, Director of Operations, Special Security Forces, Office of the President. I had risen to this position because I am principled, focused, disciplined and hardworking. I think my position had more to do with patriotism and honesty than anything else.

Members of the SSF were handpicked and carefully groomed. Each member equalled two hundred regular army personnel. That is how deadly they were. Human caterpillars; more like Transformers. These men blended in anywhere at any time. Above all they could not be compromised. For security reasons, I cannot disclose how many of us existed.

Welcome once again Mr. President

My humble greetings Mr President-Elect,

Congratulations on your re-election into the highest office of the land of Ghana.
Though you did not increase the lead margin as you did in 2016, there was no cause for alarm. For a run off.

Mr President-Elect, you have done well and for those of us that believed in you, we are proud of you.

Your number one challenger did well. Occasionally invite him to the table for his views on matters of National importance and magnitude

Your Excellency, many were those who saw with our eyes what has transpired within the country in the last four years. Before I hit that road, let me remind you of why you appealed so much to the masses in 2016.

Your excellency, we saw you as a firebrand and no nonsense person way back. Even before 2016. You embodied an attitude of “rule of law and justice”. Bring back that Nana. We yearn for that man. Please.

From the onset in 2016, you triggered alarms. You set up shop with a lot of ministers. Even more than your predecessor. Armed hooligans attacked a judge in court. People lost their livelihoods. Amerideal was renegotiated in a storm that left a ministerial casualty and populace confused. Ayawaso West Wuogon had its own brouhaha! ECG and PDS. Then Agyapa Royalties coupled with a Rebecca Foundation delivered a left right combination. Mention must be made of the excavators that dug the pit.

Your excellency, be true to yourself and identify and admit where you went wrong. Only you can fix the wrong. You have four years to right most of these wrongs lest in 2024, the people chase the elephant into the bush en masse.

Sir, you are blessed to lead a nation not only a section of the nation. I entreat you to handle the Voltarians with love and brotherliness. Despite what has gone on with them in the past, they overwhelmingly showed you what they can do and did so with Peter Amewu.

You have done well with Free SHS, Free Water and Free Electricity. You have done well but so have you raised so many eyebrows with questionable acts and policies that simply beat the imagination. In these days of 5G internet, real time activities have come to stay.

Your excellency, let me not bore you but please take into careful meditation my epistle to you. Enjoy your swearing in and may God be your guide (not these charlatans and money conscious thieves).

Welcome to a four years of discipline, integrity, accountability and love

God bless you
God bless the citizens of Ghana
God bless Ghana

Respectfully,

On point!

Two things dancing on my mind. Each is so peculiar it stands out. There is no way I will push any away but definitely, one will precede the other.

The two things are “The leadership of the church in trying times” and the “Death of a Statesman and …”.

I hold these articles dear because I am writing them based on the first-hand experience. It will harbor no insults and certain words will be in inverted brackets. Failure to comprehend what I write will leave you in a prejudiced state of mind. I suggest you read devoid of any myopic lenses lest you fail to understand the writer.
In these articles, I will ask blatant questions which if you are sincere and pragmatic will answer truthfully else…
