tears at 58

so much pain

i lean on a cane

i no longer walk

not to mention talk

not to mention a whisper

i just read the paper

we are 58

10 more years plus 48

20 more years plus 38

yet we are not straight

a country called Malaysia

on the continent of Asia

looked and laughed

the black star of Africa

the star with no lustre

 the star with no shine

the black star

how then do we shine

public office is a vehicle to acquire wealth

to be ordinary is to have no good health

very good network of bad roads

for us to hop along like toads

let there be light

but you have no right

nor do you have the sight

for there is no vision

as we have no mission

i have come to deliver

for i am only  a messenger

    1. You always have your eyes on the motherland, kudos. My greatest wish is that, people in the helm of affairs read your stuff and be reminded of the very things stairing at their faces. Welldone Major

  1. Well written, another birthday celebration to our beloved country,
May God help us. We need to change our mindset of selfishness and sacrifice for our country. Cheers to the Don.!!
